The Nelson bed boasts a solid walnut headboard lower wooden section and a buttonless tufted upper section installed with a metal insert. Its slight angle provides superior comfort when leaned back against in a seated position. Upholstery fabrics and leather options are available for the headboard. Extra wide, the top part of the headboard extends up to the center of each night table, which can be tucked just underneath. the bed frame comes with either a wooden platform or Italian slats and does not require a box spring.
